WINDERMERE Residential Training Camp

In the summer Lambton RC loads up the trailers and heads to the Lake District for the Club's annual residential rowing training camp.

The camp takes place on Lake Windermere, lasts for 5 days, and is open to day rowers as well as those staying over at the Ambleside Youth Hostel.

There are 3 rowing sessions per day, starting at 5 am, for junior and adult rowers , overseen by the Club's experienced coaching team.

In the evenings video feedback sessions are held, with footage recorded each day shown on a big screen, to provide individual technical coaching  to every rower.

There is also time to relax and enjoy other activities in the local area.

Members of other rowing clubs are welcome to join us, please enquire about availability of places if you are interested.
